On Architecture (E):

As a member of the 'Organizational Architecture Work Group' of The Open Group, Paul has published a short article in June 2007 on the semantics and principles that constitute architecture.

It was written in preparation of the 15th Enterprise Architecture Conference of The Open Group (Austin, TX, USA, July 23-25, 2007).

The article aims at firing up the discussion on 'true architecture', as opposed to the term used in the world of ICT which is, as Paul claims in the article, a lukewarm and constructionist mutation of what it could be, and should be.

As might be expected the article raised some major discussions.
